Chairman of the RTF Board of Directors Dominique Fache presents at the Rosneft technology conference
Dominique Fache, Chairman of the RTF Board of Directors, presented his vision for a system of effective technology management tools for major companies in modern times during the main plenary sessions of Rosneft’s Technology in Oil Exploration and Extraction 2015, which was attended by more than 500 employees and partners of oil companies.
In his presentation, Dominique Fache pointed out that the success of companies such as Schlumberger, Toyota, and Apple were related to, first and foremost, investment in scientific research and development and continual improvement, as well as the use of innovative ideas from the companies’ own employees.
As Mr. Fache noted, some of the key elements of successful technological development models at major oil companies include technology parks, corporate venture funds, digital universities and technology skill centers.
Based on Dominique Fache’s experience, such tools allow market leaders to attract the newest technologies, the sources of which are often small and medium-sized technology companies.
Mr. Fache cited as an example several advanced Russian companies with significant development potential, including the technology company Runaco (video), which has brought several advanced products to the oil services market with the help of RTF. Runaco’s advanced products are not only unparalleled in Russia, but are in demand abroad as well.
At the end of his presentation, Dominique Fache brought the auditorium’s attention back to the need to invest in technological development and emphasized that there can be no sanctions on the technologies of the future.
